How the Artist and / or Agent manages the Calendar
For an Artist to make available or block dates on his or her calendar simply follow these steps:
- Access your Calendar on your Profile page;
- Click on a date to select it. Only one date can be selected at a time.
- By default, your Calendar Dates will all be available. You will need to click individually on all Dates you wish to block.
- Click preview changes and then save changes.
On your calendar, the available dates to reserve are green and the blocked dates are red.
Dates Automatically Locked
Dates requested by Event Planners will automatically be locked from the Artist’s calendar as soon as a Reservation request is made and until the Artist accepts or rejects the Reservation, or until the request expires within 24 hours or the Event Organizer withdraw the order.
If the Artist rejects the Reservation, the date will be automatically unlocked from the Artist’s calendar and other Organizers may request the date but the Event Organizer who has rejected the request will not be able to request the reservation of the same date again and this date will be automatically locked for that date. Event Organizer. If the Artist accepts the Reservation but there is no confirmation of payment within 24h, the date will be automatically unlocked from the Artist’s calendar.
Pending and Confirmed Reservations
You may see Pending Reservation requests in your Profile. Dates with Pending Reservation Requests will be blocked until you accept or decline them, or after 24 hours, when the reservation request expires – whichever comes first. It is considered confirmed the reservation after confirmation of your payment by the Event Organizer. Dates with Confirmed Reservations will be automatically blocked on your calendar. Only a single Reservation may be made per Date.
The only way to unlock dates after a Reservation is confirmed is to cancel it, which will result in a full refund of the Event Planner and may result in Artist penalties, including withdrawal from the AMP market, if there are three or more Reservation cancellations. confirmed by the Artist within 12 months, other than as described in our Force Majeure Cancellation Policy.
Instant Booking Tool
If the Artist Profile has Instant Booking enabled, the Artist can pre-approve the Booking of a Date that the Event Organizer requests and choose to keep the dates locked during the 24 hours the Host has to make payment.
If you pre-approve a Reservation after an Appointment and allow the Event Organizer to book instantly, you have the option of blocking those Consulted Dates until the Event Organizer makes and pays for the Reservation or until the pre-approval expires after 24. hours
This allows you to ensure that the Event Planner who submitted an appointment has a chance to book. You can change your mind at any time and withdraw your pre-approval before the Event Organizer makes and pays the Reservation.
During the Booking a Date process, the Event Planner will choose the date (s) you wish to reserve.
The dates chosen by the Event Organizer will be automatically blocked from the Artists calendar as soon as the Reservation Request is made and until the Artist accepts or declines the request, or until the order expires within 24 hours or the Event Organizer withdraws. the request.
If the Artist accepts the Reservation Request, the reserved dates will continue to be blocked for 24 hours after acceptance, pending payment and verification.
If the Artist Profile has Instant Booking enabled, the Artist may pre-approve the Booking of a Date that the Event Organizer requests and choose to keep dates locked for 24 hours that the Event Organizer has to make payment.
Event Planners sometimes submit a Reservation inquiry for certain dates before submitting a Reservation request. Dates will remain open for multiple Event Planners to submit inquiries until the Artist has a Pending Reservation request.
Once payment is made and confirmed, the Date Reservation will be confirmed. The only way to unlock dates after a Reservation is confirmed is by canceling it, which will result in the total loss of any amount paid, except as described in our Force Majeure Cancellation Policy.
